Ollie Chandler Collection Randy Alcorn

Great chance to read a series all at once.  I enjoy getting to read books like this where you don't have to wait for the next book to come out to find out what happens next.  This set of books keeps you turning the pages to see what happens next with the mystery part and makes you really think about your purpose in life. more from the author can be found here   http://www.epm.org/ “I received this book for free from WaterBrook Multnomah Publishing Group for this review”

The Rocky Mountain Heiress Collection by Kathleen Y'barbo

I quite enjoyed reading these three books, having previously read The Inconvenient Marriage of Charlotte Beck, I was pleased to be able to read the other books in the series. I really liked seeing characters from one book, appear in another so I could see what had happened with many of the characters.  The Confidential Life of Eugenia Cooper Eugenia wants to see the west and sees her opportunity when she becomes a governess to Daniel Beck's daughter.  Her family at home feels like this is an adventure that wills soon play out and she will come home shortly.  Instead she finds herself very heavily involved in the lives of Daniel, his daughter, and the other town folk that she meets. Anna Finch and the Hired Gun Anna wants to become a reporter, but her father wants her to settle down.  Encounters in her town give her the opportunity to  interview  interesting people and keep her dream of reporting alive.  Pinkerton Agent Jeb Sanders is hired to k...

Northern Light Trilogy by Lisa Tawn Bergren

This book consists of the following three titles.  It was great to have the story altogether and not have to wait for the next book to come out to find out what happens next. The Captain's Bride tells the story of a group of friends and family leaving Norway and starting over a new life.  It tells of what they have to endure to start over and some of the interactions of the story members along the way.  Many of the characters are torn between what they know should be done and what they actually do. Deep Harbor continues the story with several of the characters settled into what seems like the good life, and  others enduring hardships of death and deceit. The must depend on each other to get through the tough times no matter what the cost. Midnight Sun tells the conclusion of the story as the characters search for what has been lost and the temptations they face along the way. I would recommend this series and author to anyone to read. Wishing on Willows by Katie Ganshert

Another good book from Katie Ganshert, author of Wildflowers from Winter.  I had enjoyed reading this book and was glad to be able to read it.   After Robin's husband dies, she is left to care for their three year old son and manage the cafe she has worked hard for.  When Ian comes in and tries to get her to give up her cafe, she puts up quite a fight.  The book tells of their time together and how they come to a resolution to this dilemma.  "I received this book for free from WaterBrook Multnomah Publishing Group for this review." more from the author can be found here  http://katieganshert.com/

Fearless by Eric Blehem

This book was very insightful and informative.  It tells the story of Adam Brown who is a member of Seal team six.  It tells of several of the things he had to go through as a SEAL and how he came to know Christ.  I was amazed of the courage he had and have a better understanding of what the families go through.  I received this book to review from Waterbrook Multnomah press to review.  more from the author can be found at http://www.amazon.com/Eric-Blehm/e/B001IR1L2A/ref=ntt_dp_epwbk_0

Echoes by Robin Jones Gunn

I enjoyed reading this book that is a part of the Glenbrook Series.  I had read some of the other books in the series, so I had a pretty good background, but it is a book that can stand alone.  After a bad breakup,   Lauren starts an online relationship under the pen name KC.  She corresponds with Wren and after a while they grow close even though they have never met.  She finds it hard to explain this relationship in a way that others can understand.  They do finally meet and the book tells how things go. Sisterchicks in Gondolas by Robin Jones Gunn

Jenna and Sue are best friends and sisters-in-law.  Jenna  has the opportunity for a week in Venice and of course invites Sue to go with her.  They are responsible for cooking for a group that is staying at the same place they are and that leads to some interesting happenings.  While there they get to explore the city and see things they would never get to see otherwise.  A great continuation to a great series.
