Seconds to Live (Homeland Heroes Book #1) by Susan Sleeman

This book really kept me going.  I did not want to stop, but instead at the end of each chapter found myself continuing on.  I cannot imagine what it would be like to think I was safe and then find out otherwise or to be the ones trying to get it all under control.  The agents have to work together and with one of the witnesses to try to find the hacker and get the information back under wraps.  I am anticipating to see what happens next in this series.

Hereafter by Jody Hedlund

I have really enjoyed reading about the lost princesses.  Emmeline had lived as one of the lost princesses and had tried to keep a low profile and not get discovered.  When she realizes it soon might be possible, she tries to do what she can to prevent it.  Unfortunately she is captured and forced to marry the prince.  She continues to do all she can to get away, but the prince wants to take his marriage seriously and tries to make it work.  All of this is also taking place as an actual battle is going on around them.

Protecting Tanner Hollow by Lynette Easom

I really enjoyed reading this set of books.  Each one was easy to read and by having four it kept the story going and allowed me to read at my own pace.  The stories take place in Tanner Hollow and several of the characters are in more than one story.  This was nice in that it let you keep up with the characters and see what happened next.  Each story was one that kept you guessing on how each one would turn out.  They really made you want to finish each one in one reading.      I received this book from the publisher, the review is entirely my own.

Double, Double, Toil and Truffle by H Y Hanna

I love seeing what Caitlyn has gotten up to next. She is trying to work on her powers, but things do not always go as planned (love the green hair).  She also had too much to worry about such as where things are going with James, that spell is over her cousin, Pomona, and trying to undo a spell by her younger cousin Evie cast accidently.  Adding to her troubles is a witch hunter, a murder, and trying to figure what is going on with her cat Nibs.  Can't wait to see what she gets herself into next.      I received a copy of the book to read, the review is my own.

Sara's Gift by Kimberly Rose Johnson

I love the concept of granting a wish for someone else, and have no idea what I would do.  I liked how Sara decided to get someone to help her in coming up with what to do.  It was great when it all came together and the "wish" was fulfilled.  This is  a neat concept and I really enjoyed this quick read and learning about Snowflake, Colorado.

Foremost (The Lost Princesses Book 2) by Jody Hedlund

I enjoyed reading this second book in the Lost Princesses series.  Lady Maribel thinks she has everything figured out and knows what she wants to do, when her world gets turned upside down.  She finds herself fleeing when she becomes the target of King Ethelwulf's army as it is discovered she is one of the lost princesses.      She leaves with Edmund who know all about the King and is in love with her.       I enjoyed seeing how they dealt with what was thrown to at them and with their feelings towards each other.      I received a copy of the book to read, the review is my own.

Evermore (The Lost Princesses Book 1) by Jody Hedlund

I really enjoyed reading this story of Lady Adelaide and her journey to becoming queen.  As it becomes known who she really is, it is up to Christopher to protect her from those who do not want her to gain her rightful title.       I liked the action and interaction between the characters and how Lady Adelaide was able to step up for what she wasn't sure of becoming.
