Blowin' Up A Murder by Tonya Kappes

Cottonwood, Kentucky is a great town, except when someone is murdered.  The Sheriff and bride get into it as she shuts down the wedding reception due to a murdered worker.  The Bride is understandably not happy and makes her opinion known. Fortunately Kenni and Poppa are able to start figuring out what happened right away.  Great fun and lots of twists.   I received a copy to read, the review is mine.

To Tame a Cowboy: Colorado Cowboys Series by Jody Hedlund

The story of the McQuaid family continues with Brody.  Brody had come to live with his brothers and their families, but is having a hard time fitting in.  While in town he meets Savannah.  She has been trained in vet skills and comes back to the ranch to live with the McQuaid family and use her skills.  She too is running from something.  Together they work at helping each other work through their problems.   They run into issues as they work to save the mustangs that are running wild near the ranch and the townspeople that Brody has antagonized.  Savannah must face her family and speak up for herself. Hopefully together they can work through their problems and grow closer to each other.

Barista Bump off by Tonya Kappes

Roxy is determined to shut down the local crime spree by what ever means necessary. She has enlisted the help of Loretta to make the mayor and sheriff take notice and do something.  She is not about to let his disrupt her store or her new life.  This would definitely make a quirky town to live in.

Malicious Intent: Defend and Protect by Lynn Blackburn

Ivy had finally met her goal and is ready for the next steps in her company.  She has her new product ready for presenting to the world and someone is out to make sure that does not happen.  Luckily she has the help of her old friend Secret Service Gil Dixon.  Together they have to work together to make sure that all of Ivy's time and research  does not go to waste. A real page turner. I received a copy of the book to read, the review is mine.

The Spark of Love by Amanda Cabot

I really enjoyed reading this book and seeing the interactions between Alexandra and Gabe as they try to figure out exactly what is going on.  Alexandra has moved away to a small town and is trying to start over.  She works to fit in her new town but soon finds that all is not as it seems.  I liked seeing how things evolved and how the relationships changed along the way. I received a copy of the book to read, the review is mine.

The Lady of Galway Manor by Jennifer Deibel

Annabeth and Stephen meet as she takes on an internship with his family.  They are in the jewelry business and not only sell jewelry, but also the idea that goes with it .  Stephen is not convinced of the legend of the Claddagh ring, but as Annabeth and Stephen get to know each other, opinions can be changed.  They also find themselves in some life changing situations as the war for Irish independence is going on and have to learn to lean on each other even more.   I received a book to read, the review is mine.

Until Leaves Fall in Paris by Sarah Sundin

I liked the historical context of this book.  It really gave an insight into conditions and ways during the war.  The missions of the main characters were interesting and I liked how they had to work around what they were trying to do and what they thought the others were trying to do .  I was really able to get into the story and liked how the author tied together the story and history. I received a copy to read, the review is mine.
