Captivated by the Cowgirl by Jody Hedlund

We now the story of Felicity in the Cowgirl series.  The family has gotten the boarding house back and Felicity cannot do it alone.  She needs help and finds it in an unlikely place.  I liked seeing the story of Felicity and Philip and how their relationship evolved.  There is much intrigue and hidden dangers involved and the book was a real page turner.   Love this series and keeping up with the characters of all the books in the series.

The Cowgirl series continues with the story of Courtney sister Patience.  She has to leave their boardinghouse and now has to find a new way to survive.  She winds up out at the ranch of Spencer Wolcott.  They come to an agreement.   I liked how the story progressed and the relationship between Patience and Spencer.  I liked how they had to work around all the issues that arise and the growing connection between them.

The Colorado Cowboys series continues with the story of Charity.  Charity is trying to make it on her own by running a boardinghouse.  She is trying to provide for her younger sisters but is having a hard time making a go of it.  Hudson Vanderwater becomes aware that she is having trouble making ends meet and helps her out by renting out the boarding house.  Charity is grateful for it but has a hard time acclimating to her new boss.  As the become more acquainted, more comes to the surface about what is really going on.  A good read and I look forward to the next book in the series.

Committing to the Cowgirl by Jody Hedlund

This book tells the story of Astrid Nilsson.  She has become a doctor and has returned to Colorado and teams up with Logan Steele to work as a doctor with him.  I enjoyed following the story as the two team up in more ways than one.  Astrid is eager to practice medicine, but is not so sure about working with and courting Logan to make it happen.  As the story progresses the work though many obstacles and eventually find the pathway that is right for both of them.  Look forward to the next book in the series.

Wait for Me by Jody Hedlund

The Waters of Time series continues with the story of Dawson and Philippa.  Dawson  find out the secret of what happened to his sister and he begins to search for the holy water to reconnect with her.  He has discovered that it has the power to allow others to travel in time.  While in the Middle Ages he connects with Philippa and decides to stay and marry her.  It was interesting to see all the events that happened to allow them to connect and to try to stay together as the holy water only works so much and one has to be careful with both the past and present.

The Tapestry of Grace by Kim Vogel Sawyer

Tapestry of Grace tells the story of the town of Alexandertol, Kansas' creation of a benevolent society to care for German widows and orphans.  They learned about it after hearing about it from a town in New York.  Augusta is glad for the new endeavor as school is on break for a short time and she needs something to occupy her time.  Martina also is glad to be involved as it will give her a break from her family.  There winds us being unexpected blessings from this endeavor for not only those involved but those who are on the receiving end of the help.  A great story of coming together.
