Shadows on the Sand by Gayle Roper

Great book as Carrie and Greg try to decipher the disappearance of Jase.  Carrie owns a diner that Jase works at and when he disappears after a fight with the boyfriend of another of her workers, they team up to find out the truth.  Jase's parents are trying to find out what happened to him and are convinced that he did not go back to the cult that he was previously a member of.  In finding out what has happened, Carrie and Greg have to face their past and decide how it will affect their future.
“I received this book for free from WaterBrook Multnomah Publishing Group for this review”
