Beloved Hope by Tracie Peterson

I really enjoy books set in a historical setting as they give you a bit of history woven into a story that makes it more realistic.  Hope is a survivor and has moved somewhat on, but soon has to go back and face her past.  She has survived a massacre and has to go back and testify against those involved.  I really liked her courage even though it was not what she wanted.  I think that facing the past maybe helped her to move on somewhat.  She also had to learn to trust others as she had to trust opening up to Lance was the right thing.
I received a copy of the book from the publisher, the review is my own.
