The Christmas Blessing by Melody Carlson

I really enjoyed this story of heartache and joy.  Amelia is unsure how to go on after the death of James, her baby's father and wonders if she should turn to his family for help.  I felt for her as she contemplated what route to take, especially as she learned more about his family.  This was a hard time for anyone who had loved ones participating in the war and their families at home as well.  A well written book.
I received a copy of this book from the publisher , the review is entirely my own.
