The Crossing by Sierta Ann Jakes

The Crossing is about how Claudia watched a murder 10 years ago while on a bus in high school.  Ten years later the case about who opened fire is reopened and eventually solved.  This book wasn't exactly what I expected, but was an okay book to read and figure out who had committed the murder.  The book details relationships of others who are also involved in the story.  “I received this book for free from WaterBrook Multnomah Publishing Group for this review”

The Christmas Singing by Cindy Woodsmall

This is a great quick read.  I have enjoyed reading several of her other books and looked forward to receiving this book and was not disappointed.  Mattie is a talented baker and after her shop burns down she returns to her parents home.  While there she had to encounter Gideon who she was previously engaged to and work on being civil to. Gideon still cares for Mattie and had kept a secret from her that caused them to break up. This story tells how they work on their differences and forgiveness. “I received this book for free from WaterBrook Multnomah Publishing Group for this review”

Forever Faithful by Karen Kingsbury

Forever Faithful is three books in one.  It includes Waiting for Morning, A Moment of Weakness, and Halfway to Forever.  It is a great way to get introduced to Karen Kingsbury and to find out what happens next in the trilogy. Waiting for Morning is about how Hannah overcomes her hate and grief after her husband and daughter are killed.  She gains peace through the ones that are around her that help her to see clearly again. A Moment of Weakness is about two childhood friends who meet again later as adults.  Some choices are made that have long lasting consequences.  Halfway to Forever take on the two couples again and the trials that they are still facing and how they deal with them  “I received this book for free from WaterBrook Multnomah Publishing Group for this review”
