With this Ring by by Karen Witemeyer , Mary Connealy, Regina Jennings, and Melissa Jagears

A great set of four stories that will entertain as well as captivate you.   This set of short stores by four great authors tells how love can overcome even though many obstacles.      I really enjoyed getting to read each story and with them being separate stories in their own, you can read them one at a time, or spend a great afternoon reading.  The novellas do incorporate some characters from full-length novels that they authors have written about previously, but it is not necessary to have read them. ( It can also give you an incentive to read other great books by the authors.)      I enjoyed seeing how the characters were able to work things out to what they needed such as how Josiah and Katie start out pretending to care about each other and as time progresses, they realize that they just might not be pretending.  Or how Marittta decides to take things onto her own hands to keep Daniel, her foreman from leaving.     I would recommend this great read.  I received a copy fro

Mountain Hideaway by Christy Barritt

Tessa feels like she is finally safe and has found a few people that she can trust.  That all goes away one night when she starts to flee when someone comes after her.  She finds herself having to trust the person who has found her, Trent McCabe when they both find themselves being fired upon.  Tessa has to decide who she can trust and make sure that no one else gets hurt in the meanwhile.  She also has to make sure that Trent believes her when no one else will as to why she is on the run.      I really enjoyed this book by the author. It was well written and kept you turning the pages to see what would happen next and how they would be able to handle it.  I liked seeing how the characters started to trust each other, but also how there were some twists to the story as well.      I received a copy of this book from the author to review.

Among the Fair Magnolias Tamera Alexander, Dorothy Love, Shelley Gray, Elizabeth Musser

I really enjoyed this book from a great set of authors.  I have read books from each of them separately and enjoyed catching up with some old characters in this compilation.   You do not have to have read the other books to enjoy this great set of books.  It is something that you could enjoy all at once, or in parts since there are four great stories.

At Love's Bidding by Regina Jennings

A cute book about how Miranda Wimplegate goes to the Ozarks with her grandfather to track down a painting that should not have been sold.   The circumstances they find themselves in there are very different than they are used to as the town if very rural and they are used to Boston.  They also find themselves dealing in livestock instead of the antiques that they are used to dealing with.  While they continue on their mission to find the missing item, they must rely on the help of the manager, Wyatt Ballentine to keep the business running.      I liked the interactions between the characters and how they had to handle being in an unfamiliar situation.  I know I would probably feel like a fish out of water if I had to go from the city of Boston to the Missouri Ozarks during this time and would have no idea how to get myself out of what they found themselves in charge of.     I would recommend this to anyone who would like a lighthearted read.     I received a copy of this from t

Step by Step tells the story of ER nurse Taylor Cabot.  She was widowed after a bad accident and has to work hard to continue living and move on.  She finally starts to move on and even has started a relationship with a doctor.  Old memories start to come back thought when Seth Donovan comes to San Diego to train community volunteers.  A community crisis soon makes her reevaluate everything and she just hopes to get through it all. I like how the books have the medical background of the author interwoven throughout the book.  It makes it more realistic without making you need to look up everything.  It was a great book that kept you wanting to know what would happen next and what choices that Taylor would make and what would motivate her choices.  This would make a great read for anyone who likes suspense as well as romance. I received a copy of this book from the publisher free to review. Questions and answers from the author.  http://mediacenter.tyndale.com/downloads/press_kits

What a cute book full of pictures that will make you go awww.  I loved the pictures of the animals and the captions with them.   It is a great book to thumb through over and over again to give you a great smile.  It is one to be read through as well as a few pages at a time.  I already have some of my favorites that I have look at again and again for a smile.  Great book for any animal lover.  Some of my favorite pictures were of the cats being a cat owner myself.  I loved the one that was on its back dreaming of being a flying squirrel.  The spots on its belly were beyond cute.  As a lover of rock music, I also liked the one that was looked like it was either yawning or rocking out. I love how they got the animals to pose.  I cannot seem to get mine to do that for all the trying.  I have had to bribe them with treats just to get a few snapshots to share with my family.  I love how they were able to catch them at just the right time to get the pictures in the book.  I have at tim

Undaunted Hope by Jody Hedlund

I love lighthouses and their histories and that is what first attracted me to the Beacon of Hope series.  The great stories and how they are told are what has kept me reading them.  Having traveled to and climbed many lighthouse, I can get a feel for some of the things that the characters are going through.      Tessa has come to Eagle Harbor hoping to teach and escape her past.  When she gets there, she finds out that all is not as expected, but gets to keep the joy anyway.  She works hard to try to keep the job beyond the grace period.  While in Eagle Harbor, she catches the eye of Alex, the assistant  light keeper as well as his brother Michael.  She feels drawn to them both, as well as Michael's children and must rely on God and trust to make the best decision.  She also must deal with the fact that someone is after her along with everything else.      I liked the suspense in the book along with the descriptions and historical significance.  I also like the ongoing story

Days of Wine and Roquefort by Avery Adams

I enjoy reading books that have a theme and food is a great one.  I get to learn a bit about something new and enjoy a  good mystery to boot.  I am definitely going to have to try the recipes at the end including the one for the cheesecake.      This mystery involves cheese shop owner Charlotte Bessette and her house guest Noelle Adams.  Charlotte is asked to host Noelle who is traveling around to to help increase business for the local winery.  When Noelle is found dead, Charlotte finds herself trying to figure out the truth of who killed her.      I enjoyed seeing how the characters interacted and helped each other work out their problems, from the grandmother with her plays that had a theme that went along with a past problem, to the games played together to talk out issues.      This is the fifth book in the cheese shop mysteries.  While it would help you to understand some of the character relationships to have read the other books, it is not a necessity.  I would recommen
