At Lighthouse Point by Suzanne Woods Fisher

I was drawn to this story first because I like lighthouses, but kept reading due to the story.  Blaine has a good plan, but not all the resources needed to make it work.  She wants to remake the family business into a great restaurant, but soon finds out it is not as easy as she first hoped.  She also has to modify her plans when she realizes that coming home is not at all as she wants as she has to work with family and old  acquaintances to make her dream a reality.   I received a copy to read, the review is mine.

Blackberry Beach by Irene Hannon

Another great story from Hope Harbor.  Katherine is ready to find out what exactly she is looking for as she travels to Hope Harbor.  She is feeling overwhelmed when she should be on top of the world and Hope Harbor should be exactly what she needs.  While there she gets teamed up with Zach to help out some children.  It is always interesting to see how two people who don't want to do something interact with each other.  They soon find themselves working together to help out some children and find that they are more alike than they first believed. I received a copy of the book to read, the review is mine.

Present Danger by Elizabeth Goddard

A suspenseful read.  Jack and Terra must work together when a body is found in Montana.  This book will keep you guessing as you try to figure out what all of the ties are and why the victim was killed.  Jack and Terra find themselves in danger many times as they try to figure out what the victim was doing and if it is tied to trafficking.  A great read and I look forward to the next one. I received a copy to read, the review is mine .

Fronds and Enemies: English Cottage Garden Mysteries by H Y Hanna

I love reading about Poppy and her trials of getting her garden to grow.  On top of killing plants, she finds herself in the middle of another murder.  As she goes about trying to find out exactly what has happened, she runs across some interesting characters as well as ones we are familiar with.  I love seeing what Oren is up to and how he wants everything "now"  He would be a fun cat to have, even if he is a bit naughty at times.  I can't wait to see what everyone will be up to next, especially as Poppy continues to run the nursery and find out more about her family. I received a copy to read, the review is mine.

Insects, Ivy, & Investigations: A Camper & Criminals Cozy Mystery Series Book 17 by Tonya Kappes

Another great story with Mae and the Laundry Club Ladies.  They are out to find out the real story of Alicia and Craig.  Did she kill him, or was she just in the wrong place at the wrong time?  I love reading how Mae and her friends go about finding out who did it all the while "staying out of trouble."  A great continuation of the story of Normal, KY. I received a copy to read, the review is mine.
