Salted Caramel Sorcery by H.Y. Hanna

Caitlyn is enjoying her time in the village and is working on enhancing her chocolate and sweet making skills and she and the widow Mags get to show off their skills at a ball thrown by Lord James.  She is a bit hesitant about wanting to go and dress up but her cousin Pomona helps her to find a great costume and she is actually enjoying herself until there is drama.  First some townspeople show up protesting the ball because it is celebrating Mabon which James thinks more of a celebration of Autumn, but others want to tie it to witchcraft.  Then a guest is found murdered and Pomona becomes the main suspect.  Caitlyn can't believe her cousin would do it, but then again she has been trying out some black magic and has not really been like her old self.    A  very enjoyable read that would not be complete without Victor losing his fangs and Nibs and Bran getting into trouble. Love this series and would love to try some of the sweets that they make.

Blossoms, Barbeque, & Blackmail: A Camper and Criminals Cozy Mystery Series by Tonya Kappes

Wow this book is just packed with fun.  First there is a Ms. Blossom Festival which of course has to have a queen.  Mae has her hands full as Dottie and Mary Elizabeth decide to enter the festival and of course get into it.  Then Carrie confronts the person (Jason) accused of her daughter's death and then he too ends up dead.  The Laundry Ladies and Mae realized they need to not only clear Jason's name but also find out who killed him.  Meanwhile Bobby Ray is about to meet is real mamma and of course she has to meet everyone else as well.  A great fun read in Normal KY.

Wildlife, Warrants, & Weapons by Tonya Kappes

Henry is busy helping get tings ready for Abby and Bobby Rays wedding and working for Mae a the Happy Trails Camp Ground.  He decides to do a little work on the side and soon finds him arrested for the extra work and for murder.  Good thing he knows Mae and the Laundry Club ladies,, otherwise he might just find himself in jail for a long time. Love the antics of the Ladies and this great series of books.  Can't wait to see what happens next the old and new characters.

Outdoors, Oars, & Oaths: A Camper & Criminals by Tonya Kappes

Mae and the Laundry ladies load up to try to find out committed the most recent murder so that they can clear Stanley's name.  They go on a girl's trip to New York to see if the mob is involved or if it is something else.  The Happy Trails Campground sounds like an interesting place to stay as long as the mobsters stay away.  I can't even imagine what a trip with Mae and the Ladies would be like.
