Entwined by Jody Hedlund

Lis has lived a simple life and plans to continue doing so even though she has found out something about her heritage.  She realizes that she needs to step up and take her rightful place, she doesn't and continues to help out on the family farm.  As things continue to stay unsettled an unexpected visitor comes to hide out on the farm.  It is a knight who has been accused of treason and must find a safe place to stay until he can clear his name.  As he and Lis come to know each other, the must work out all of the differences that will come between them.   I have really enjoyed this series and look forward to hopefully seeing what will transpire next.

Eyelet Witness by Julie Anne Lindsey

Bonnie is at it again.  She does her best to prove her friend did not kill her ex.  Bonnie has a change to expand her talents as she decorates a food stand for a friend, but when the main attraction (a prize winning hen) goes missing it looks like things won't go well for the food stand.  Even more of an issue arises when a murder takes place and the detective suspects Bonnie's friend.  Great read and love the characters.  I received a copy to read, the review is mine.
