Seashells and Murder by H.Y. Hanna

I get a little jealous when reading this series. Ellie is having a great time in Florida, sampling new foods, spending time at the pool and beach, meeting new people, and solving another murder.  Maybe I will skip the murder part, but I would love to visit the resort she is staying at.      Ellie finds herself caught up in another murder when she is asked to be a second judge in a Key Lime Pie contest.  She soon finds herself going around the resort trying to find out who had a reason to kill the main judge.  I loved the scene where Mojito helped her figure out how to get in the kitchen and of course Hemingway plays a big part too.  Looking forward to book three.

Kickbacks, Kayaks, and Kidnapping: A Camper and Criminals by Tonya Kappes

I love the goings on at the Happy Trails Campground in Normal, Kentucky.  Mae is doing a great job a the campground.  She is getting events held there and people love staying there.  During a competitions that will lead to the Olympics,  a person is found dead.  This cancels out the great reviews that the campground has been getting.  Now Mae and her Laundry Club Ladies need to get to work to get everything back to "Normal"  I love Mae and her Ladies and all the craziness they get into trying to make it all work out ok.

Flip-Flops and Murder by H.Y. Hanna

I enjoyed this new series and wanted to join Ellie at the resort.  It seems like a pretty nice place to visit excluding the murder of course.  Ellie hits the jackpot with a ticket to Florida to stay with her aunt at a nice beach resort and she jumps at the chance to leave England to join her.  When she gets there she meets all kinds of people, but not her aunt and one of them winds up dead shortly afterwards.       Ellie bungles some of her first choices of who did it and why, but soon it all comes together.  I look forward to seeing what happens next.      I received  a copy of the story to read, the review is mine. .

An Appalachian Summer by Ann H. Gabhart

I really enjoyed this story as I enjoy reading books that give me an insight into history, but weave it in a story.  I cannot imagine what it must have been like for Piper to go against her parents and the life she was brought up in to become a volunteer courier for the Frontier Nurses.  She had to take on  a very different lifestyle, interact with different people, and even fall in love.  A great read.      I received a copy to read, the review is mine.
