Be Still My Soul by Joanne Bischof

This book tells the story of the first year of marriage of Gabe and Lonnie.   She does not really have good male role models and her father forces her to marry Gabe and she complies.  Soon after they marry they leave his family and travel toward a town where he thinks there are jobs.  They do not make it there, but instead begin living with a couple Jebediah and Elise who teach Gabe how to really treat Lonnie.  The book tells of their struggles as they learn to be a couple.
