A Most Inconvenient Marriage by Regina Jennings

I quite enjoyed reading this book and it was one that I had a hard time putting down when I had to go and do something else.  I loved seeing how things were going to pan out between Abigail and Jeremiah as well as their interactions with family and neighbors.  I loved how Abigail was not afraid of going after what she wanted and by taking control of the situation to save what she held dear even if it was a bit unconventional.   She seemed to know what needed to be done and how to accomplish it even if it didn't mean getting what she really desired.  I would hardily recommend this book to anyone who wants a book with great adventure with romance thrown in as well.

I like how the main character Wren is not afraid to be herself and make the best of her new situation.  She has been raised  by her father in a manner that does not show the money that her family  actually  has, but soon finds herself in a new situation that is not what she is accustomed to. Wren finds herself leaving her country home in Kentucky and having to learn how to fit into her grandparent's home.  She does the best to learn how to act and dress, but deep down she is still who she is beneath all the finery.  She does what she has to for her family, but still remains loyal to her roots.  Wren is a fascinating character an made the book worth reading.  I received this book free from the publisher to review. Saved by a matchmaker by Jody Hedlund

 I really enjoyed reading this book.  Enya's father wants her married to a suitable person and decides a matchmaker is just the person to make it happen.  Sullivan needs to marry to meet his father's demands and decides that Enya will make a suitable match.  The book progresses as they come to know each other and really have to learn to lean on each other even in the had times.  A really good historical read and romance.  Look forward to more.

Saved by the Lawman by Margaret Daley

     Kate is a family court judge who has made someone so upset that they try to kidnap her son, but thankfully Chase a policeman is there to step in and stop the attempt.  He realizes that they are in more danger and works to keep them safe and loses his heart in the process.  I love seeing how he falls for Kate and her son and keep them safe as well.
