Bride at Last by Melissa Jagears

I enjoyed reading this book and love the devotion that Kate is willing to show for her friend even when it leads to unexpected happenings.  Kate agrees to take care of her friend's son when she passes away, while Kate had been helping them out all along, she finds it more complicated to take care on him on her own.  I liked seeing how Kate was able to stay true to her calling and do what it took to keep her promise.  I am not sure I would be able to do so even to a lesser extreme than she went to.  I would recommend this book and the others in the series as well.  While this book is part of a series, you don't have to have read the others to understand this book.
I received this book free to review.
