     Book four in the Chesapeake Valor series starts off running and stays that way till the end.  Luke Gallagher is finally back with his friends and family, but not as a happy reunion, but to stop a terrorist.  I liked seeing how Luke worked as getting back to a "normal" life, while at the same time having to do all he can to keep himself and Kate alive.        I have really enjoyed this series and seeing the characters evolve.  It will be hard leaving them behind, but look forward to seeing what comes next.      I received a copy of the book from the author, the review is entirely my own.

      I have enjoyed this series set in Memphis as I can can picture many of the places that they wind up.  I think it would be great to finally solve a cold case, but would hate to have the case hanging over me as it waits to be solved and would hate it even more to realize that someone was still out there and was still killing.  Rachel soon finds out that there is more to her mother's death as she meets up with an Elvis impersonator.   She soon finds herself looking into it again as another murder occurs and she has to work together with someone from her past before anything happens again.       I received a copy from the publisher, the review is my own.

     A good mystery mixed in with good food makes for a great book.  I enjoyed reading the second book in the French Bistro series.  Mimi has gone back home and opened her own Bistro and it is starting to do well until a dead body turns up in the kitchen.   Mimi realizes that in order to restore order to her business and to continue making a name for her business during the local festival, she must figure out who the real killer is.   A great read.      I received a copy from the author, the review is my own.

     An enjoyable story of change, love, and acceptance.  When Captain Macy gets back home he finds things very different than when he left and has a hard time accepting it.  I too would have a problem if I came back to find everything different, but would soon have to move on.  Captain Macy tries to act like he isn't bothered by everything, but Daphne sees through him and soon sees the man beyond the surface.  She soon must make a decision that will change things very long term.        I received a copy of the book from the publisher, the review is my own.

     Rosalind is a real pioneer.  I admire how she has a job and passion that is not normally associated with women, but have noticed this theme in many of Camden's books.  She is willing to put what she knows to good use, no matter what.       Nicholas is not too happy to have to work with Rosalind, but soon finds himself listening to what she has to say even if he is still a bit weary of her techniques.      I really liked seeing their relationship grow and how they learned that even if they did not always agree, that listening to one another did have merit.      I received a copy of the book from the publisher, the review is my own.. 

    I love this series and was very happy to get to read the next installment.  Caitlyn is doing her best to settle in her new life as a chocolate maker, but soon finds herself caught up in another mystery.  I love seeing how she and her cousin go about trying to figure out the murder while trying to stay under the radar.  I also liked seeing how the previous story progressed as we learn more about her background and how she tries to get around who she is with James.      I received a copy of the book the review is my own.
