An Uncommon Woman by Laura Frantz

I really enjoy historical fiction and An Uncommon Woman gave much insight into the life of a woman living in the 18th century frontier.  Tessa soon finds herself in a bit of trouble and the fort commander Clay has to work on rescuing her.  I could really get into what life was like and see the scenes play out.  I liked seeing how things worked out between Clay and what he had to do even though he wasn't sure about much that went on.
I received a copy of the book, the review is mine.
