A Lady in Attendance by Rachel Fordham

Hazel is looking to make a new life and name for herself as she takes a job with Dr. Watts.  As they become more aquatinted , he realizes that there is more to her than meets the eye and gets to know her better.  What he does not know is that she has a past that that could make him look at her differently.  I enjoyed getting to know the characters and seeing how they worked out what they were willing to share and how forgiveness and society norms played into the story.

I received a copy to read, the review is mine.
