When Sparrows Fall by Meg Moseley

 Miranda  is widow who lives in a rural Georgia Town with her six children.  She is hurt in an accident and her brother-in-law is asked to come and help with the children as she recovers.  Jack has not spent much time with the family and it is quiet an adjustment for him.
Jack helps her family to get back on track and helps her to realize that she can stand up for herself against her pastor who does not have the family's best interest at heart.
This book is a great read and one that you will not want to put down till you finish
