The Daughter's Walk by Jane Kirkpatrick

Having just completed Where Lilacs Still Bloom, I was looking forward to reading this book as well.  This story continues after the Estby's journey to NYC to raise money to save the family farm in Washington State.  They traveled  there by walking due to a wager from the fashion industry.  The daughter Clara did not choose to come back and this book tells what may have happened and why she didn't decide to come back and how that decision affected her life.
