Where Lilacs Still Bloom by Jane Kirkpatrick

This is a fictional rendering of the real life Hulda Klager.  She was a gardener who loved to grow many things including several varieties of lilacs.  She wrote down much of her accomplishments in gardening.  This book chronicles those accomplishments as well as what happened in her personal life with her family and friends.  A good read for those who love growing flowers and are interested in life during that time period.
