The Cost of Betrayal: Three Romantic Suspense Novellas by Dee Henderson , Dani Pettrey , Lynette Eason

I enjoyed this set of novellas and each story was very suspenseful and lived up to what I would expect from each author.

In Betrayed a woman is freed from jail due to the actions of two people she did not know.  An object found at an auction set it all in motion and to ensure that the real culprit did not come after her, the two people help her to find a safe place to stay while they find the real killer.

In Deadly Isle, what starts out as frequent race between cousins turns deadly and it is up to Teni to find out what really happened.  As she investigates, she has to be careful as things are not always what they seem.

In Code of Ethics , Ruthie finds herself helping someone far beyond her doctoring skills.  When it seems there is more to her patient than meets the eye, she helps him to find out what really happened and has to work on keeping them both safe.
