A Light in the Wilderness by Jane Kirkpatrick

This was an interesting tale of three women and their journeys west.  I took me a little to get settled into this book, but once I did , I quite enjoyed it.  I liked the courage that the women in this book showed not only in their travels, but in their personal lives as well.  I don't know that I could have stepped out on faith as they did to not only leave what they knew, but to go against the normal as well.  I learned some of what it was like on the trail especially for those who weren't exactly accepted as well as the rest.
