The First Hostage by David Rosenberg

This is the second book in a series and it continues where the first one ended. This continues the story of J.B. Collins who is a newspaper reporter, whose writings include information from the White House.  When the president goes missing, Collins is the one who will figure it out.  As the world is falling apart around them, Collins continues writing the stories that will keep everyone informed, as well as figure out where the president is.
I had not read the first book, so I had to do some catching up to figure out what was going on, but was able to do so.  With everything that is going on in the world today, this book gives you a perspective of how things could be.  I like how Rosenberg ties things together so you can follow along, but still keep you guessing until the end.   A great recommendation for anyone who likes mysteries, politics, and thrillers.
I received a copy of this book free from the publisher to review.
