This is the third book in the series, but the first one that I have read. I really enjoyed the writing and the characters were enjoyable. I enjoyed their enthusiasm is getting a chance to go to the ball (who doesn't like dressing up). and of course a murder occurs. The coven works together to find out who is responsible and I enjoyed seeing the way they thought things out to solve the mystery. An enjoyable book that I would highly recommend.
I have enjoyed reading this series and since I have been studying about WW2 in school, I enjoyed it all the more. I have liked being about to tie what I have learned in history class with what is in the book because even though it is fiction, it was well researched and gave me a different view on things. I also enjoyed seeing how the characters interacted even though it was a change of pace for both of them.
I received a copy of the book from the publisher, but the review is entirely mine.
A wonderful story of hope and belief. As Josiah has to put to practice what he does for others, he must depend on his faith, love, and hope to make things as they need to be with his wife. He must depend on his belief that things can be repaired to keep trying.
I liked seeing how Josiah persevered even when things did not go the way he wanted. How he realized that things that might work for others might not work for him and how he worked to find other ways.
