My Soul Sings by Kim Vogel Sawyer

A story of hope and help.  Jeremiah needs the healing that the small Arkansas church can provide as he finds our that there is always someone that needs his help.   As he gets there he finds Tessy.  She is in need of a friend and they soon are able to help out each other as they both grow.  It was interesting to learn of the superstitions and ways of the people of Shyler's Point especially during this time in history.  It seems like God knew exactly what was needed in placing Jeremiah there when he did to promote both his healing as well as the town and Tessy's.  He was exactly where he was meant to be.
I received a copy of the book from the author, but the review is entirely my own.
